Saturday: Bianca Del Rio, 8 and 11:30 p.m., House of Blues: New Orleans-based drag queen Bianca Del Rio won RuPaul’s Drag Race with a aggressive sense of style and humor that put some of the challenge back in drag. (tickets)


Sunday: RL Grime, Lunice, Branchez, 10 p.m., The Republic: R.L. Grime’s recent Void shows how much he can do with trap, but it doesn’t wander so far as to test his audience. (tickets) Also on Sunday: Alex Clare, Taylor Berrett, 6:30 p.m., House of Blues (tickets)

Tuesday: Frontier Ruckus, Coyotes, 9 p.m., Gasa Gasa: Frontier Ruckus’ Sitcom Afterlife could be thought of as indie Americana, but the songs have an attractive post-Wilco fragility and rock ’n’ roll gestures that suggest broader influences. Other Stuff
This is NOLA returns Friday to celebrate New Orleans’ indie culture at the Joy Theater with food, art, and music by Sweet Crude, Boyfriend, Tysson and Quickie Mart. The show’s free and starts at 8 p.m. (information)

Wednesday night, we present the My Spilt Milk Caroling Pub Crawl. The annual event starts at the Kingpin at 7 p.m. for a warm-up drink, then we wander the neighborhood and Magazine Street, sharing Christmas cheer with people whether they want it or not. Singing talent is helpful but not crucial. (information)
