Register for a Chance to Win Weekend Passes to Voodoo 2017

The festival returns to City Park October 27-29, and its lineup will be announced Tuesday. Sign up to receive our weekly newsletter for a chance to win.

Tuesday morning, the Voodoo Music and Arts Experience will release its talent lineup for this year’s festival. Voodoo will take October 27-29 in City Park, and this will be the second year that C3 Presents will produce Voodoo, which benefited from a more focused lineup with a more intuitive layout last year that addressed previous years' soundbleed issues. At a time when even the festival’s good years felt provisional, Voodoo 2016 raised the possibility that a corner had been turned. Tomorrow we’ll get the first sign of whether that’s true or not.

We’ll have the lineup at 6 a.m. as well, and we’ll have two ways that My Spilt Milk readers can win weekend passes to this year’s Voodoo. Register for “Condensed Milk,” our weekly email newsletter, and you’ll be entered in the drawing for a chance to win a pair of weekend passes. The contest is open now and closes Thursday at 5 p.m.

You can also win a pair through the contest that we’ll post on our Instagram, Twitter and Facebook pages. That contest too will close Thursday at 5 so that we can announce the winners before tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.

In other Voodoo news, the Voodoo weekend will open on Thursday, October 26 this year with Feast Under the Stars, an outdoor dinner party on the Voodoo grounds with wines paired with dishes prepared by Aarón Sánchez of Johnny Sánchez, Martha Wiggins of Sylvain, John Bel of Meauxbar, Nathan Richard of Cavan, and Kyle Knall of Kentons and Maysville. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 as well.
