Our guide to this week in live-streamed shows, from Broadway to GLAAD to 100 gecs.

Live streams continue to pop-up and multiply across the Internet, but finding them is still a bit of a directionless search. In an attempt to save everyone time and energy, we are trying to do some of that legwork. Each week we’ll be compiling the live streams we find, along with pertinent info and links. 

Saturday, April 25

The Band Together Benefit will feature many local artists such as PJ Morton, Tanks and the Bangas, Kermit Ruffins, Stanton Moore, and more  in order to help local musicians who have been affected by COVID-19. This will take place at 3 pm CT.

Club MTV will be having a benefit show hosted by D-Nice that will benefit the Save the Music Foundation. This will take place at 9 pm CT, and will be broadcast on VH1, MTV, and MTV2. 

Craft Recordings has begun a weekly series, Craft Recordings Presents: Shoplifting, which will feature label artists shopping at Concord's in-office vinyl store and discussing influential records. This goes live at 9 am CT. 

ISPY will be putting on a live show with Sasha Keable and DJ Hannah Bronfman, with Doja Cat headlining. This will take place on ISPY’s Instagram at 7 pm CT.

Jack Johnson will be hosting Kōkua Festival 2020 - Live From Home, which will feature Ben Harper, G. Love, Ziggy Marley, Lukas Nelson, Paula Fuga, Kawika Kahiapo, John Cruz, Anuhea, Ron Artis II and his brother Thunderstorm Artis. This will take place at 5 pm CT.

RaeLynn will perform on Instagram live as part of Crown Royal’s #GenerosityHour.  For every post using #GenerosityHour, Crown Royal will donate $1 to bartenders in need through the USBG Bartender Emergency Assistance Fund, up to $400,000. This will take place at 5:30 pm CT. 

Pacha Ibiza launches a virtual “House Party” featuring Bedouin, Claptone, Felix Da Housecat, House Keeping, Pete Tong and more. The event will benefit Ibiza Red Cross, and will begin at 11 am CT. 

The “Under One Roof” livestream will benefit North Carolina artists, and will feature Anthony Hamilton, 9th Wonder, Ben Folds, The Hamiltones, Petey Pablo, Tift Merritt, Jim Lauderdale, Steep Canyon Rangers, Chatham County Line, Joe Troop of Che Apalache and The Harvey Cummings Project. The livestream will take place on Facebook live and begin at 7 pm CT April 24-26. 

100 gecs is hosting “Square Garden” which will feature Charli XCX, Dorian Electra, Kero Kero Bonito, Cashmere Cat, Benny Blanco, Tommy Cash and more. It will take place within Minecraft, and it will benefit Feeding America. This begins at 5 pm CT.

Pickathon Presents: A Concert A Day will feature Willie Nelson at 3 pm CT.


Sunday, April 26

Pathway to Paris Earth Day 50: A Virtual Festival for Our Planet will feature Michael Stipe, Patti Smith, Flea and more and take place on Instagram Live at 3 pm CT.

Lindsey Ell will be holding a Facebook live concert to benefit Colorado’s Tennyson Center for Children (Tennyson Center). This will take place at 8 pm CT.

Pickathon Presents: A Concert A Day will feature The Lone Bellow at 3 pm CT.

“Take Me To The World: A Sondheim 90th Birthday Celebration” will feature performances by artists who appeared in his shows, such as Meryl Streep, Bernadette Peters, Patti Lupone, Audra McDonald, and many more. It will air on Broadway.com and the Broadway Youtube channel at 7 pm CT.

GLAAD is hosting “Together in Pride: You are Not Alone" which will feature Melissa Etheridge, Matt Bomber, Billy Eichner, Kesha, and more. The event will raise money for LGBTQ community centers, and it will begin at 7 pm CT.

April 27

LL Cool J will host a town hall with the Beastie Boys on his "Rock the Bells Radio" show, streaming on SiriusXM's channel 43 and on the app at 11 am CT.
